Siyanda Xulu Leaves SuperSport United

After just one season, defender Siyanda Xulu is leaving SuperSport United.

Last July, Xulu left Azerbaijani outfit, Turan Tovuz, to join SuperSport on a two-year contract. However, after only making 16 appearances across all competitions during the 2023/24 season, he has made little impact during his time at the club.

According to the latest reports, both Xulu and Matsatsantsa reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract early, which will allow him to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

It remains to be seen where Xulu will move on to next, although media outlets speculate that the 32-year-old Bafana Bafana defender is open to joining another local outfit in order to get more game-time next season.

What’s more, he has also received interest from clubs in both Russia and the Middle East, which could provide him with a lucrative move abroad.
